GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Using this program, you can earn up to the maximum CLE credits shown in the "Provider's Certification" menu item.

PARTICIPATORY ("Seminar Attendance") CREDITS:

You earn your participatory (i.e., "seminar attendance") credits by completing the on-screen activities with this program, with one or more proctors designated by you certifying your participation. Before you begin, please print out your "Official Record" form from the main menu. You will use this to keep track of your MCLE participatory credits using another person (a proctor designated as your "provider's agent") at your location to certify completion of your participatory activities. This person does NOT have to be an attorney.

Your proctor(s) fulfil a similar role to the individuals that pass out then collect sign-in sheets at a live seminar. Our office retains the original of your Official Participatory Record for the time required by the State Bar, and we keep it available for the Bar's inspection as may be required.  You should keep a copy of your "Official Record" form for your records.

As you complete each participatory CLE activity, both you and the individual designated by you as the provider's agent log in and sign your participatory record. When you finish all the participatory activities for which you wish to receive CLE credits, you will return the original completed log sheet to us, with both your certification and your provider's agent's certification signed and we will issue your MCLE certificate. You should keep a copy of your "Official Record" form for your records.

IF YOU NEED LESS THAN THE MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE MCLE CREDIT-HOURS:

If you need less than maximum allowable hours of MCLE credit available with this program in your current reporting/compliance period, simply take the number of hours you need now, and save the rest for your following reporting period. Remember, New York CLE carry-over is limited to 6 hours. California and Florida attorneys MAY NOT CARRY FORWARD ANY CLE CREDITS!

REMEMBER TO PRINT OUT YOUR OFFICIAL PARTICIPATORY RECORD AND DESIGNATE YOUR "PROVIDER'S AGENT" PROCTOR BEFORE YOU BEGIN YOUR CLE ACTIVITIES!

PRINTING YOUR SUBSTANTIVE WRITTEN AND COURSE MATERIALS:

A number of the MCLE activities provided with this program include additional substantive written materials. You can print out the individual course materials by selecting the activity/course, then use either "Print" or "File", "Print" on your top menu bar. Additional substantive materials, where supplied, can be accessed by the links in the program. Simply click on the appropriate link then print out as above. The CD version of the program also contains those additional substantive materials on the program CD. The online version requires printing by clicking on the respective link.

All external internet links contained within the program were live and functioning as of the date of the program's release, however the publisher cannot take responsibility for continuing validity of third parties' links. INDIVIDUAL STATE BAR PROGRAM APPROVALS:

The publisher is a California State Bar approved MCLE provider, and this program is approved by the California State Bar for the subjects and credit hours as indicated in the "Provider's Certification" menu item.
