GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

                Using this program, you can earn up to 25.25 hours of California State Bar approved MCLE credits, including both Participatory ("seminar attendance") and self-study MCLE credits (see note below on California Bar's "actual time spent" rule).

          PARTICIPATORY CREDITS:

                  You earn your participatory (i.e., "seminar attendance") credits by completing the on-screen activities with a proctor designated by you present and certifying your participation.  Before you begin, please designate a person to act as your proctor/provider's agent, then print out your log of participatory MCLE activities.  You will use this to keep track of your MCLE participatory credits using your proctor designated as your "provider's agent" at your location to certify completion of your participatory activities and the actual time you spend on each activity.  The person(s) designated by you to act as your proctoring provider's agent does NOT have to be an attorney.

                  As you complete each participatory MCLE activity, both you and the individual designated by you as your provider's agent log in and sign your participatory record.  When you finish all the participatory activities for which you wish to receive MCLE credits, you will return the original completed log sheet to us, with both your certification and your provider's agent's certification signed and we will issue your MCLE certificate.

                  Each topic carries a specified number of hours of participatory MCLE credit, as determined by our attorney-editor to be a reasonable time to complete each participatory activity, however the California Bar will only allow credit for the ACTUAL TIME you spend on any activity. Therefore, if you spend LESS time on any activity than that time pre-printed on your Official Participatory Log, please line-out the pre-printed time and write in your actual lesser time spent on each such activity.  In such cases, you will receive credit for the lesser time you indicate that you actually spent on such activities.  In no event will you be given MORE credits than that pre-printed on the Official Log.

                Your Official Participatory Log will be retained by us as required by the California Bar's rules, and you will receive your MCLE certificate within 30 days of receipt of your Log.  Please note your MCLE credits are earned as of the date you complete your MCLE activities, rather than the later date on which you receive your MCLE certificate.  

  TOTAL CALIFORNIA BAR APPROVED MCLE CREDITS:

                As presently constituted, this program contains a total of 25.25 hours of maximum allowable MCLE credit-hours.  Please see notes above in the event you spend less time on any activity than that time allotted by our attorney-editor.   REMEMBER TO PRINT OUT YOUR OFFICIAL PARTICIPATORY RECORD AND DESIGNATE YOUR "PROVIDER'S AGENT" PROCTOR BEFORE YOU BEGIN YOUR PARTICIPATORY MCLE ACTIVITIES!

   

 VOLUNTARY COURSE EVALUATIONS:

                            If you wish, you may submit course evaluations on any or all of the activities on this program; however submission of evaluations is purely voluntary, and not required by you.  If you chose to submit course evaluations, you may do so anonymously, or include your name at your election.  Should you wish to submit one or more course evaluations, please select Menu item 20 from the Main Menu.  Should you decide to submit course evaluations, please include them with the materials you send to us on completion of your MCLE activities (Official Participatory Log and/or Self-study quizes) or if you wish to submit anonymously, mail in an envelope WITHOUT your return address to:  I.C.L.E., 9424 Darwell Drive, L.V., NV  89117-0602.

Once you register, you'll get the "live" functioning online program and can begin to earn all your California MCLE required hours & subjects - a full 25 hours - right on the World Wide Web!
